Together with her sister Nina she went to schools which included First Nations children as well as children from other cultures. Isabel lives in Byron Bay, NSW Australia. Isabel has been involved with drama from her early high school days. She continued to study acting in the Victorian College of Arts Queensland University of Technology and more lately, she studied her studies in the PEM Method (Perdekamp Emotional Method). The actress did not appear in parts until her agent found herself in the year 2002. She was cast for the part of Home and Away, 1988. The producers thought she wasn't suitable for the part. They were nevertheless impressed with her performance, and offered Tasha the role of a lifetime. Her first TV role was for three years, and she received the Logie Award for new popular talents. Isabel moved to Los Angeles, California in the year 2008. Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was the film with which Isabel made her first big break. Isabel has been featured in numerous US as well as Australian productions, and received several prizes. Isabel recently played a part in Bosh & Rockit - Ocean Boy, a movie that rapidly becoming a mainstay of Australian film. Isabel will also be seen in the upcoming thriller Lunacy. Isabel completed Sons of Summer recently and is in the process of pre-production to play Marie Curie's character in Radiant, a film by the award-winning filmmaker/writer Annika Glac.
